“Top tour experience” - June 2016

John led us on a fantastic full day tour of den Haag and Delft yesterday. His love of the area, it's culture and history was endearing to us and he shared so much. John has a lovely manner and he was so patient with our wanting to stop and take photos and ask questions the whole day long. The day didn't feel long as he had a great tour plan and his information spanned a balance between historical facts and funny little stories related to the culture of past generations. We had rain, coffee and ice cream stops, tram rides and little insights to some hidden gems all interspersed into our brilliant tour. John was caring of us from my first email enquiry re his tour until our return to our hotel at end of day. To really appreciate den Haag and Delft you need to take this tour of discovery with John and we highly recommend his service. He was a committed guide and fun.

“Wonderful Private Touring Experience!” - July 2016

In planning two pre-cruise days during which we would be staying in Rotterdam, we booked back-to-back private tours with John of Tour the Hague. John helped us plan a customized two-day itinerary, with one day in Delft and the other in The Hague. And our time with John was fantastic! A British ex pat who has lived near The Hague for 30 years, John brings to his tours a wealth of knowledge of the history, art and culture of South Holland. On top of all of that, John is warm, friendly and flexible, as well as solicitous of the needs and wants of his guests. As a result, we accomplished all of the "must sees" on our agendas, but we also saw and did many things that only an expert like John could provide. I cannot recommend John strongly enough! Walking the streets of Delft and The Hague with him was an amazing experience! I can think of no better way to see the cities we visited with him, especially if time is limited. You will find John a pleasure to deal with in the planning stage and a great guide once you meet him!

My husband and I spent seven wonderful hours with John today, taking a tour designed just for us in The Hague and Delft. We are interested in history, and John is both knowledgeable and full of stories about the places we passed and visited which made them come alive. He also knows a lot about architecture and both cities are filled with beautiful buildings. A private walking tour is the only way to understand the sights, travel at your own pace and get the most out of a visit to a new place. If you visit either city, plan to go with John for a great experience.

I took a full day tour to Rotterdam and hague visit to Netherlands is not complete without visiting Rotterdam and The Hague Amsterdam is more of a heritage city where as Rotterdam and The Hague gives you the most modern site of Netherlands the beautiful and diagonal architecture of rotterdam gives and shows you the best part of Netherlands and hague the seat for embassies and palace for the king gives you the complete picture of Netherlands in my view visiting Netherlands without Rotterdam and The Hague is not complete so take complete trip, thanks!
